Encrypted at rest
Your data is encrypted at rest by our database provider, Supabase.
TLS in transit
Connections to budgetbits.io use HTTPS.
EU data residency
Your budget data is stored in the EU (Supabase, Frankfurt). Payments are handled by Stripe and account emails by SendGrid.
Row-level access control
Database policies restrict each account to its own rows.
Delete your data
Self-serve from Settings → Danger Zone. Type DELETE to wipe every transaction, budget, envelope, and holding in seconds. For full account removal (auth record included), email support@budgetbits.io and I'll remove it within 30 days.
Export your data
Self-serve from Settings → Open Exports. Hit "Download everything as JSON" for one complete file, or grab individual CSVs for transactions, budgets, categories, envelopes, and crypto. PDF dashboard reports included.
